New scaffolding and construction walls have appeared on the Bay Lake side of Disney's Contemporary Resort, according to a Wednesday evening report from WDW News Today.
The scaffolding stands near the southern end of the A-frame tower, closest to the Convention Center. It fills several open bays below the guest-room balconies and rises to about the lowest balcony level. Green construction walls also surround a Convention Center entrance staircase and part of the tiled plaza.
The equipment had been positioned on the Magic Kingdom-facing side during earlier phases of the exterior work. Disney currently advises Contemporary Resort guests that construction and refurbishments are underway.
