Peter Capaldi has joined Only Murders in the Building Season 6 as a recurring guest star, according to Deadline's original casting report.
His role has not been revealed. The new season is set in London and also includes fellow Doctor Who actors David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker.
Season 6 adds a third modern Doctor
Capaldi played the Twelfth Doctor from 2013 to 2017. Tennant played the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors, while Whittaker played the Thirteenth. Their shared history is casting context, not a sign that the Hulu mystery will cross into science fiction.
Only Murders moves its mystery to London
Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez remain the center of the series. Hulu has not announced a Season 6 premiere date or Capaldi's character.
