Disney's new Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey balloon has made its first flight over the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. Disney Parks shared the debut on August 13.
The balloon is scheduled to appear in the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this fall. Macy's is marking the parade's centennial edition in 2026.
Sorcerer Mickey takes his parade form from Fantasia
The design uses Mickey's red robe and blue, star-covered sorcerer's hat from Fantasia. In Disney's video, the balloon rises above Downtown Disney near the Disneyland Hotel.
