Update: September 6, 2026. Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin remain central to Zootopia 3 as Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, Disney Animation president Clark Spencer said in a D23 interview published September 4.

Jared Bush said the team wants familiar characters to return while introducing new elements. The arrival of birds will bring changes for Nick, Judy and the wider city, though the filmmakers have not revealed the plot.
