Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain will close at the end of 2027, clearing the way for Disneyland Paris to restore the attraction's original Space Mountain - De la Terre a la Lune identity.
The returning version will bring back the original exterior look and soundtrack while adding an updated ride experience. A reopening date has not been announced.

Hyperspace Mountain Closes at the End of 2027
The current Star Wars overlay will close at the end of 2027. Disney has not narrowed that timing to a day or month.
The 1995 Space Mountain Theme Returns
De la Terre a la Lune opened with the attraction in 1995 and drew its identity from Jules Verne's novel about a cannon-fired trip to the moon. Disneyland Paris later changed the ride to Mission 2 and then Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Disney's announcement confirms the original theme and music are coming back, but does not say that every element of the 1995 show will be recreated.
