August 18 Entry Tickets Reach Capacity Again
USJ announced the second-night cutoff at 3:49 p.m. Japan time. The planned participant limit had been reached, so numbered-ticket distribution ended.

August 17 Entry Tickets Also Reached Capacity
USJ announced the first-night cutoff at 7:01 p.m. Japan time, about half an hour after the display opened. No more entry tickets were available for August 17.
Universal Studios Japan said the August 17 participation limit had been reached and entry-ticket distribution ended. The Shinjuku zombie display returns August 18.

Entry Tickets Were Distributed at Shinjuku Southern Terrace
Earlier in the day, USJ directed visitors to Shinjuku Southern Terrace for entry-ticket distribution. The park did not announce an advance booking option.

The Display Runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Japan Time
The installation was scheduled to run on August 17 and 18 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Japan time. Universal warned visitors to keep their distance from the captured zombies while taking photos and watching the display.

The Display Promotes USJ's 15th Halloween Horror Nights
The fenced display uses Universal Studios Japan's 15th-anniversary Halloween Horror Nights artwork. The park's 2026 Halloween Horror Nights season begins September 11 in Osaka.
