Walt Disney World hosted a World Princess Week celebration for wish kids and their families at Give Kids The World Village in Central Florida on Aug. 19.
Rapunzel helped children decorate paper lanterns inspired by Tangled. Belle led story time, Moana made Heart of Te Fiti-inspired jewelry with families, and Princess Tiana and Louis led a second-line parade through the Village.

World Princess Week Uses the Theme “Once a Princess, Always a Princess”
The 2026 celebration carries the theme “Once a Princess, Always a Princess,” with Disney characters and families sharing crafts, stories, jewelry-making and the parade at the Village.
Walt Disney World Has Supported Give Kids The World Since 1986
Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides cost-free weeklong vacations for children with critical illnesses and their families. Walt Disney World has been the Village’s first corporate partner since 1986.
Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together since 1981, helping grant more than 175,000 wishes worldwide.
