Battleworld Puts Doom at the Center of the Expansion
In Marvel’s comics, Secret Wars is the name attached to a multiverse-shattering conflict that leaves Doctor Doom as God Emperor Doom over Battleworld, a patchwork world made from pieces of different realities. The tabletop book uses that setup as the backdrop for a campaign rather than asking players to recreate the comics panel by panel.
Secret Wars Adds New Character Builds and Rank X Rules
The expansion covers the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, the Guardians of the Galaxy and other corners of the Marvel cosmos. It also adds new maps, character builds and rules for Rank X characters, the game’s top-end power tier.
The book is aimed at game nights that want a large-scale Marvel setting without requiring a comics reading list first. The basic hook is simple: choose a fractured reality, pick a powerful character and see what survives when Doom’s rules collide with the rest of Battleworld.
