Universal Studios Japan's Summer Matsuri Nights: Neon Glow Up is in its final stretch, with the 2026 event scheduled through August 26. The late-summer program mixes evening stage shows, street performances, festival food and neon-lit merchandise at the Osaka park.

Universal Summer Matsuri Nights Runs Through August 26

Universal Summer Matsuri Nights: Neon Glow Up runs from July 1 through August 26, 2026. The event is dark on August 21. Regular evening hours are 6:30 to 9 p.m., with an earlier 8 p.m. close on August 22.

NO LIMIT! Glow Up Oh-Matsuri Fills the Night With Water and Foam

The main-stage NO LIMIT! Glow Up Oh-Matsuri is the wettest part of the evening, with water and foam dropping over a dance show led by park characters in yukata. The show runs from 7:15 to 7:35 p.m. and again from 8:10 to 8:30 p.m.

Summer Matsuri Nights Has Festival Food, Games and Evening Tickets

Other parts of the program include the Minion BOO-YA Block Party, street performances and Summer Glow Moment fireworks. Food carts offer festival-style snacks and glowing drinks, while the park's games use neon prizes. Evening ticket options include the special viewing-area ticket, Twilight Pass and Night Pass.
