Universal Studios Florida’s entrance gateway is now wrapped in scaffolding, and a current on-site photo records the center opening at roughly one-third its normal width.
bioreconstruct posted the observation on Aug. 23, describing the work as a refurbishment of the Universal Studios Florida gateway arch.

The Gateway’s Center Opening Is About One-Third Its Normal Width
Scrims and scaffolding surround the arch, leaving a narrower path through the middle. That visible condition does not establish a closure or a revised entry procedure.
Universal has not announced an adjusted entry process. Guests should follow the latest instructions from Universal Orlando when planning a visit.
HHN 35 Opens at Universal Studios Florida on Aug. 28
Universal Orlando has scheduled the separately ticketed event for select nights from Aug. 28 through Nov. 1 at Universal Studios Florida. The event includes 10 haunted houses, four scare zones, live entertainment and themed food and drinks.
The gateway work is visible ahead of opening night, but the current post does not identify which guest-flow changes, if any, Universal will make at the entrance.
The Gateway Refurbishment Has No Announced Completion Date
Universal has not announced a completion date for the arch refurbishment. The next public update to watch is any direct instruction from Universal about entrance routing for HHN 35.
