Disneyland Resort 2027 vacation packages and Disneyland Resort hotel room reservations are expected to become available Tuesday, August 25, 2026, covering arrivals from January 1 through December 31, 2027.
The booking date was reported by WDW News Today. Guests are expected to be able to book online or by phone. Disney had not posted the 2027 date on its public Disneyland booking page by August 24, so the opening time and first available room inventory should be confirmed on Disneyland.com when the booking window goes live.
2027 Arrivals Run From January Through December
The release is a full-year booking window rather than a short seasonal drop. Guests planning spring break, summer travel, Halloween or the holidays can target dates anywhere from January 1 through December 31, subject to room and package availability.
That range matters because the resort’s announced entertainment changes by season. A January trip will not have the same show lineup as a summer visit, and holiday offerings will be announced separately on Disney’s events calendar.
Three Disneyland Resort Hotels Can Be Packaged With Tickets
The current Resort Hotel Vacation Package includes three on-property hotels: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, The Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel.
The current package structure includes a 2- to 5-day Disneyland Resort eTicket for each guest age 3 and older. The base ticket admits a guest to one park per day, either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Park Hopper is an upgrade, and each park day requires the appropriate theme park reservation. A hotel stay does not guarantee a park reservation.

February Brings Back Three Major Entertainment Titles
Disney Parks Blog announced that a refreshed version of “Remember… Dreams Come True” will return to Disneyland park in February 2027. The production will add projections on the Rivers of America, the facade of “it’s a small world” and down Main Street, U.S.A. Music and projections are planned nightly, with fireworks on select evenings.
Disney California Adventure will also receive an updated take on the original “World of Color” beginning in February. The show will draw from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar stories, with a new arrangement of the 1960s “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color” television theme by the Sherman brothers.
Magic Happens Returns for Summer 2027
“Magic Happens” is scheduled to return to Disneyland park in summer 2027. The parade features Mickey and friends, story-driven floats and characters from Disney Animation and Pixar, including Cinderella, The Sword in the Stone and Coco.
For guests choosing dates, the announced windows create a practical split: February and later trips can target the returning nighttime shows, while summer trips add the parade. Disney has not announced the exact first performance dates in the public entertainment announcement.
New Attractions Are Mostly a 2028 Story
Disneyland Resort will be changing around 2027 guests, but the largest newly announced attractions are not scheduled for that year. Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab are scheduled to open in 2028 at Disney California Adventure as part of an expansion that will double the size of Avengers Campus.
The new Coco attraction is under construction near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier, but Disney has not announced an opening date. An Avatar destination is also planned for the Hollywood Backlot area, with construction timing still to be shared. The resort’s Tomorrowland reimagining likewise remains a long-term project without a public opening date.
Book the Room First, Then Build the Park Days
The most time-sensitive choice on August 25 will be the hotel and travel dates. Park reservations, dining, Lightning Lane products and seasonal entertainment are separate planning decisions that should be checked against the selected dates.
On-property guests currently receive one complimentary entry to an eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction at either park, redeemable at any available time on one day of the hotel stay. Attractions, entertainment, services and amenities can change or close, and availability is limited.
That makes the 2027 launch useful for securing a date and room, not for locking every part of the trip. Start with the season you want, compare the three resort hotels with Good Neighbor options, and confirm park reservations and entertainment once Disney publishes the 2027 booking details.
