Kings Island’s Soak City water park will close for the 2026 season after September 7, the park said in an August 24 post.
The September 4-7 Season Passholder & Member Appreciation Weekend is the last chance to visit Soak City before the seasonal closure. Kings Island describes Soak City as its water park, with slides, pools and a lazy river.

Soak City’s Final 2026 Weekend Runs September 4-7
The park’s official event page schedules the final weekend from Friday, September 4, through Monday, September 7. The September 7 date is Labor Day.
Kings Island’s Water Park Closes After September 7
Kings Island has not listed a separate 2027 reopening date on the checked pages. The current guest-facing action is the same: plan a Soak City visit by September 7.
