Disney+ has announced Breaking Spencer Matthews (w/t), a Hulu Original feature-length documentary that follows Spencer Matthews as he attempts seven full-distance triathlons across seven continents in 21 days.
Spencer Matthews will attempt seven 140-mile triathlons
The challenge covers 140 miles per triathlon across all seven continents. The film will follow the physical effort alongside Matthews’ story of identity, addiction, grief and men’s mental health.
Whisper is producing the documentary after Finding Michael
Whisper, the BAFTA-winning and multi-Emmy Award-nominated production company, is producing the film. It reunites Matthews with Disney+ three years after Finding Michael, his first film for the service.
Disney+ has not announced a premiere date for the documentary.
