ESPN's College GameDay Built by The Home Depot enters its 40th season and its 500th road show before returning to Disney+ on Saturday, September 5.

College GameDay reaches its 500th road show

The Walt Disney Company's August 28 feature identifies the 40th-season milestone and notes that the show has traveled to 82 schools across 39 states. Desmond Howard, who joined the College GameDay team in 2005, reflects on the people who have shaped the ESPN program.

North Carolina vs. TCU starts Disney+ coverage August 29

Disney+ and ESPN are adding weekly college football coverage for U.S. subscribers this fall, with two ESPN and ABC games available each week as part of the new College Football Saturdays lineup. The first game is the Aer Lingus College Football Classic between North Carolina and TCU in Dublin, Ireland, at noon Eastern on Saturday, August 29. Additional matchups are set for September 5, 12 and 19, while later selections will be made on the usual six- and 12-day windows.

College GameDay returns to Disney+ September 5

College GameDay Built by The Home Depot returns Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon Eastern, beginning September 5 from Baton Rouge before Clemson plays LSU. The games and studio show remain available through an existing Disney+ subscription in the U.S.
