Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District Adds Food Hall, Shops and Future Restaurants

Downtown Disney’s west end now includes the district’s first food hall, six new retail concepts and four future restaurants as redevelopment continues.

Downtown Disney sits between the Disneyland parks and resort hotels, and admission to the outdoor district remains free. The dining and shopping lineup combines current openings with projects that are still being built or planned.

Parkside Market Brings Four Concepts Under One Roof

Parkside Market is described as Downtown Disney’s first food hall. Its four concepts are Parkside Market Coffee, Korean-inspired Seoul Sister, GG’s Chicken Shop and Vista, a bar with district views and cocktails or mocktails.

Din Tai Fung’s first freestanding restaurant at Downtown Disney lets guests watch dumplings being made in an exhibition kitchen. The menu includes xiao long bao, spicy wontons, string beans with garlic, cucumber salad and pork chop fried rice.

Six New Shops Expand the District’s Retail Mix

Six new shops make up the retail lineup: lululemon, Nectar Life, Avengers Reserve, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, The D-Lander Shop and Disney Storyland Boutique. Nectar Life has a customization bar, Avengers Reserve carries Marvel merchandise, and the sweets shop makes caramel popcorn, caramel apples and churro toffee.

Bopo Go, Arthur & Sons, Pearl’s and Porto’s Are Next

Four more Downtown Disney additions are planned: Bopo Go, Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ and Porto’s Bakery & Cafe. Bopo Go is planned as a boba, juice and matcha café with light bites, while Arthur & Sons and Pearl’s will add a steakhouse and quick-service barbecue concept from Chef Joe Isidori.

Construction is underway for Porto’s Bakery & Cafe. The location will include the bakery’s Cheese Rolls and Potato Balls, plus its first sit-down table-service dining room and full bar. Opening dates remain unannounced for these future concepts.
