Disneyland Resort will start its 2026 holiday season on November 13 and continue the celebration through January 6, 2027. The August 26 announcement covers seasonal entertainment, attraction overlays, character appearances, food, merchandise and hotel offerings across the resort.
The schedule covers Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, the three Disneyland Resort hotels and Downtown Disney District. Some menus, prices and performance details will be released later.
Disneyland’s 2026 holiday season runs November 13 through January 6
At Disneyland Park, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will return with 80,000 lights, while “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks, “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” and the holiday versions of Haunted Mansion and “it’s a small world” return for the season.
New holiday character locations and seasonal shows arrive at Disneyland
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and friends will appear in new holiday attire in Town Square. Santa Claus will move to the Trolley Barn in Mickey’s Toontown, near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, and Bluey and Bingo will continue appearances at the Fantasyland Theatre.
Disney California Adventure will bring back “World of Color – Season of Light” on November 13. The park will also host “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season,” cultural performances and Disney ¡Viva Navidad! on select days.
Disneyland hotels add seasonal dining from November 16
Three hotel character-dining experiences are scheduled from November 16 through January 3: Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays, Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party and Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast. Disneyland has not yet posted menus, prices or reservation-opening details.
A separate hotel offer opens for booking September 22. Eligible stays of three or more nights from October 11 through December 18 can save up to 20% at select Disneyland Resort hotels, subject to availability and restrictions.
Downtown Disney’s holiday program starts November 11
Downtown Disney District will add seasonal décor, food, entertainment and nightly snowfall beginning November 13. Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail returns November 11 through January 6, with activity maps and a keepsake ornament available through participating locations.
Disney will publish menus and performance details later
The announcement previews holiday merchandise and returning treats, but the full Disney Eats food guides and some reservation details are still pending. Guests planning a visit should check Disneyland.com for current dates, times, reservations, ticket requirements and availability.
