Universal Studios Japan will add most of its in-park shops to the USJ Fan check-in program on September 1. Shop visits will earn points, and each participating location will offer a distinct digital badge design.

Some shops are excluded, but the announcement does not identify those locations. Guests who want to collect the new badges should confirm a shop's participation in the USJ Fan program before visiting.

USJ Fan turns shop visits into points and badges

USJ Fan is Universal Studios Japan's free official fan program. Members earn points for park experiences and collect digital badges tied to different activities. The September 1 change extends those rewards to most shops inside the park.

Some USJ shops are excluded from the September 1 change

The September 1 shop expansion has some exceptions. The announcement does not identify the excluded shops or say whether every participating location will use the same check-in process. Guests planning a badge-collecting route should confirm a shop's participation before visiting.
