Disney+ published its September 2026 release calendar on August 31. The schedule puts Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian on the service September 2.

Two Star Wars Premieres Arrive September 2
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu follows Din Djarin and Grogu after the Empire's fall, as the New Republic tries to protect the gains of the Rebellion. The film is scheduled to premiere September 2.
LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian arrives the same day. The animated special retells all three seasons of The Mandalorian in a comedic story built around the bounty hunter, Grogu and their allies.
New Disney+ Episodes Start September 1
New episodes of Disney Jr. Ariel: The Little Mermaid Season 2 begin September 1. Pokémon: Indigo League adds new episodes September 9, and Made in Korea Season 2 premieres on Disney+ and Hulu that day.
ABC and National Geographic Titles Join the Calendar
The schedule includes 9/11: United We Stand – 25 Years Later on Disney+ and Hulu September 2, plus the ABC News live special 9/11 Tribute in Light: Live from Lower Manhattan on September 11. National Geographic's Chilean Mine Rescue: Race Against Time arrives on both services September 26.
