Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course will reopen on October 23, 2026, after a months-long refurbishment at Walt Disney World. Tee-time reservations are already available for rounds beginning that day.
The course closed in May and is scheduled to remain closed through fall 2026. The October date gives golfers a specific day to plan around.
What the Refurbishment Includes
Walt Disney World Golf’s enhancement plan includes fully renovated greens with new contouring and elevations, updates to the green-side bunker and chipping area, upgraded irrigation, new bunker drainage, and improvements to several teeing grounds.
Golf Options During the Closure
The course sits near Disney Springs and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. During the closure, golfers can use Disney’s Magnolia or Palm Golf Course, while the Lake Buena Vista Golf Shop remains open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Guests planning a round can use the Walt Disney World Golf reservation site or call 407-939-4653. The official course information asks golfers to arrive at least 30 minutes before a tee time and to cancel or reduce a reservation at least 24 hours ahead to avoid a possible payment penalty.
