Carla Jeffery, who played Bree in Disney’s ZOMBIES films and voiced the character in the animated series, died Sept. 1 at age 33, according to her manager. KTLA reported the death after confirmation from Carla Alexander, founder of Alexanders Talent Management.
Alexander’s agency represented Jeffery from the beginning of her acting career. A statement shared after her death asked for privacy for Jeffery’s family and loved ones. A cause of death has not been disclosed.
Carla Jeffery’s Disney roles
Jeffery played Bree, Addison’s best friend and a cheerleader at Seabrook High, in ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES 2 and ZOMBIES 3. She also voiced Bree in ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series.
Her other Disney Channel credits included Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up! and Best Friends Whenever. She began acting at age 12 with a role in Phat Girlz.
