Pixar Place Hotel has its first Halloween makeover at the Disneyland Resort. Hotel visitors can now see decorative artwork featuring Mike, Sulley and other Monsters, Inc. characters in Halloween costumes during Halloween Time.
The hotel displays seasonal details, including playful character costumes and “trick or scream” candy bags. The overall look stays bright and graphic while adding a fall layer to the Pixar-themed hotel.
Inside the Monsters, Inc. design
The project took months of collaboration among Walt Disney Imagineering, Pixar and Disneyland Resort Enhancement. Digital artist Brett Snodgrass, a member of the Resort Enhancement team, created the visual work behind the fall display.
Guests can spot Mike, Sulley and other monsters dressed for Halloween in the hotel artwork, along with smaller seasonal details built into the designs. The makeover is available to hotel visitors as part of Disneyland Resort's Halloween Time season.
