A presentation aboard the Disney Dream during the Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise brought together four familiar Disney voices: Bill Farmer, Bret Iwan, Kaitlyn Robrock and Jim Cummings. Their discussion looked at how performers carry characters with decades of history, followed by a character-based performance of scenes from Beauty and the Beast.

Four voices behind Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pete

Farmer, the longtime voice of Goofy and Pluto, joined Iwan as Mickey Mouse, Robrock as Minnie Mouse and Cummings, whose Disney work includes Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Pete. The session focused on the work behind the voices, including how each performer studies a character's personality and history before stepping to the microphone.

Iwan spoke about inheriting Mickey's long legacy and the need to understand the character before pushing him in a new direction. Robrock described Minnie as a steady, kind presence whose personality has evolved with the stories around her. Farmer connected Goofy to persistence and optimism, while Cummings discussed how Pete has shifted from a harsher early villain into the more familiar troublemaker audiences see today.

The performers recast Beauty and the Beast

The live performance gave the conversation a playful turn. Minnie became Belle, Pete played Gaston and later the Beast, Mickey took the role of Lumière, and Goofy became Cogsworth. The familiar scenes let the audience hear the actors' signature characters move through a very different Disney story.

The presentation was a Member Cruise feature aboard the Disney Dream. It does not announce a new voice casting change or describe programming available on ordinary Disney Cruise Line sailings.
