The Monsters, Inc. door coaster's loading area is taking shape at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Two tall gray steel structures rise on opposite sides of the central space, forming the ride's planned vertical-lift systems, while additional M-shaped station supports are visible between them.
More coaster-track sections are staged around the construction site near the Disney Skyliner route, alongside structural steel and equipment. The staged pieces are waiting for installation; the current report does not show an operating ride.
What Disney has announced
Monstropolis will be a new land at Disney's Hollywood Studios with the door coaster, Harryhausen's and the Glob Theater. Disney expects parts of the land to open in 2027, but has not announced an exact opening date for Monstropolis or the coaster.
