UPDATE, September 15, 5:25 p.m. EDT: All 65 Walt Disney Animation Studios feature films are represented throughout The Magic of Disney Animation, including artwork from the upcoming 2026 feature Hexed.
Disney’s September 9 preview used a 64-film count. The 65-film figure comes from the September 14 opening release, so the two numbers reflect their publication dates. The newer count includes Hexed.
UPDATE, September 14: The Magic of Disney Animation is officially open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney marked the occasion by gathering 60 Disney Animation characters outside the entrance for a rare opening-day picture.
The picture was created for the opening celebration and is not a schedule of characters guests should expect to meet each day.
Disney Parks also shared a 45-second opening-day video featuring the refreshed Animation Courtyard, character greetings, Drawn to Wonderland and Olaf Draws!

UPDATE: September 14: Off the Page! now has six structured character encounters within The Magic of Disney Animation. Current My Disney Experience times generally run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with some characters leaving 15 minutes early. Times can change. Individual appearance times are not listed on Disney’s official web page.

Earlier update, September 11: Alice appeared inside Drawn to Wonderland during the attraction’s September 11 soft opening. She joined children for a tea-party interaction and showed them several of the playground’s interactive features.
Drawn to Wonderland is an indoor playground inspired by Mary Blair’s concept art for Alice in Wonderland. Alice is not listed as a scheduled or guaranteed appearance, so guests should not expect to find her there on every visit.
Earlier update, September 12: Olaf Draws! may use an in-person waitlist during busy periods. If it is in use, sign up with a Cast Member at the attraction and provide a phone number. You’ll receive a text with a return time. Sign-up is handled at the attraction, not through My Disney Experience.
Disney has not published this waitlist procedure on its official attraction page or Parks Blog. Check with a Cast Member when you arrive to find out whether it is being used. The attraction officially opened September 14.

A physical queue during the soft opening
During the September 11 soft opening, guests could join a physical line for Olaf Draws! A virtual queue was not being used at that time.
That describes the arrangement during the soft opening. Early access and queue procedures should not be assumed to continue on later visits.
What’s inside
The experience brings together Olaf Draws!, the Off the Page! character-meeting spaces, the Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground and Once Upon a Studio Theater.
