The Magic of Disney Animation began welcoming guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 11, three days before its announced opening.
September 14 remains the advertised opening date. Disney’s official attraction listing still carried that date as of September 11.
A physical queue during the soft opening
During the September 11 soft opening, guests could join a physical line for Olaf Draws! A virtual queue was not being used at that time.
That describes the arrangement during the soft opening. Early access and queue procedures should not be assumed to continue on later visits.
What’s inside
The experience brings together Olaf Draws!, the Off the Page! character-meeting spaces, the Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground and Once Upon a Studio Theater.
Disney’s September 9 preview detailed those experiences. The new development is guest access ahead of the scheduled opening; Disney has not changed the date on its attraction listing.
