Seth Rogen addressed the long-quiet Figment movie in a September 12 interview with Entertainment Weekly, but stopped short of saying whether the Disney project is moving forward.
The interviewer began by describing Rogen as someone who had been announced to star in the movie. Rogen corrected that account: “I wasn’t going to star in it. We were producing it.”
Asked where development now stands, Rogen replied, “Let me get back to you.” He then added, “Let me kick the tires on that one.”
The brief exchange was the first public update on the project since it surfaced in 2022. Rogen did not say whether it remains in development, has stalled or has ended. The interview included no release date, director or cast announcement.
