The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin cut the ribbon September 10 on more than 100,000 square feet of new meeting and event space at the Dolphin.
The two-story addition includes a 38,000-square-foot ballroom, 40,000 square feet of multipurpose space and 38,000 square feet of pre-function space. It connects to the Dolphin’s existing Pacific Convention Center.
In its opening announcement, the resort said the expansion brings its indoor and outdoor event space to 600,000 square feet. The resort also described itself as the largest convention hotel on the U.S. Eastern Seaboard.

As of September 13, the separate project details remain written in future tense: “opening late summer 2026,” with the expected completion also listed as late summer 2026. That wording remains online alongside the September 10 ribbon-cutting announcement. The resort has not explained why the two descriptions differ.
The Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve are Marriott-operated hotels near EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
