Miral will invest more than AED 12 billion across Yas Island over the next five years, with new rides and expansions planned for its existing theme parks and attractions.

The plan also includes new developments and additional hotel rooms. Miral has not named the rides, identified which parks will expand or provided a construction schedule beyond the five-year window.

The money is separate from Disney Abu Dhabi

Miral’s September 14 announcement explicitly separates this AED 12 billion plan from the previously announced Disney project in Abu Dhabi. The company did not include Disney Abu Dhabi in the investment total.

Miral also did not assign any part of the money to a named existing park. Yas Island’s current parks include Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Yas Island.

The three Harry Potter lands planned for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi are not named in the investment announcement. That project has its own previously announced 2029 completion target.

Specific rides and hotels remain unannounced

The clearest park detail is Miral’s promise to expand existing theme parks and attractions while introducing new immersive rides and experiences. The announcement does not say how many rides are planned or whether each park will receive something new.

Miral likewise says Yas Island will gain more hotel rooms without giving a room count, hotel brands or opening dates. Those missing details leave the AED 12 billion as an island-wide spending plan rather than a budget for any one attraction.
