Disney Wonders is scheduled to open at Disney Village on September 22, 2026. Disneyland Paris set that date in a September 17 announcement covering the next phase of the district’s transformation. Disney Village is the shopping, dining and entertainment area between the resort’s parks and hotels.
The new store will feature areas inspired by Disney and Pixar stories, with Marvel and Star Wars characters in illuminated displays. Its exterior art draws on Peter Pan, Toy Story and Star Wars. Two central chandeliers each contain more than 40 character illustrations.
Casa Giulia and the Cinema
Casa Giulia, a two-story Italian restaurant near World of Disney and the cinema, is planned to open by the end of 2026. Disneyland Paris expects approximately 600 indoor seats and a 120-seat terrace. Giulia Express will offer takeaway pizza slices, focaccia, pastries and ice cream, with its own 40-seat terrace.
The Pathé cinema renovation is due to begin this fall. Work will proceed in phases so the cinema can stay mostly open. Plans include reclining seats, upgraded projection, a café, a redesigned Häagen-Dazs area and a games space. Vapiano is also due for a full renovation starting late this year, with completion expected in early 2027.
Annette’s Diner and Rainforest Café
Annette’s Diner, currently closed for renovation, is expected to reopen in the first quarter of 2027. Disneyland Paris plans to enlarge its kitchens, replace furniture and flooring, restore the jukeboxes as wall decorations and reopen the terrace. The resort’s concept art keeps the diner’s 1950s styling, with pink, blue and vanilla-yellow seating.
Rainforest Café is scheduled to close permanently by the end of 2026. Disneyland Paris has not announced a replacement. Work on the opposite side of Disney Village’s main street, called the South Block, is planned to begin in 2027; the concepts there have yet to be announced.
New holiday decorations are also planned from November, including Christmas trees, large snowflakes and character-inspired displays. The projects span several different opening and construction windows, so individual venues may be affected at different times.
