Kids Boo Fest opens Saturday, September 19, at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. The family Halloween event is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays through November 1. Its daytime activities are designed for younger guests, before the park’s nighttime Fright Fest scares.
Pumpkin Hollow and Daytime Shows
Pumpkin Hollow takes over Hometown Square. Families can follow a trick-or-treat trail inside the town’s firehouse, walk through the Corn Maize, hear Halloween stories and ride the Boo Line Express with two friendly ghost characters. A costume contest runs twice daily.
The entertainment lineup includes the Spectral Sisters’ music, the family musical Love at First Fright and the Skeleton Squad’s comic scare contest. The Tricks and Treats Parade starts in Hometown Square, then moves through Orleans Place and Mardi Gras. Guests can check the Six Flags app for showtimes during their visit.
Family Pack Tickets
Six Flags is offering a Kids Boo Fest Family Pack for purchases of four or more tickets in one order. Everyone using the offer must enter before 2 p.m., and the tickets are valid only on the date selected. The park advertises savings of up to $10 per ticket. Online processing fees, taxes and other offer terms apply.
Kids Boo Fest is a daytime event on the listed weekend dates, not a daily Halloween program. See the official event page for activities and the special-offers page for current ticket terms.
