Workers represented by IATSE Local B-192 and Unite HERE Local 11 held a labor action at Universal CityWalk Hollywood on September 16 as contract talks with Universal Studios Hollywood continued.

In its original Instagram post, B-192 said the action disrupted CityWalk and warned that the unions are prepared to move toward a strike vote if they cannot reach a fair contract. The post does not announce a strike vote or a strike.

B-192 says negotiations began in November 2025 and that it is working with Unite HERE Local 11 on wages and working conditions. The local represents most non-management employees at Universal Studios Hollywood, along with retail employees at Universal-owned CityWalk venues.

Wednesday’s action was at CityWalk. The union’s post does not say that Universal Studios Hollywood closed, and it gives no date for a strike vote.
