Space Fantasy - The Ride remained down at Universal Studios Japan at 1:24 p.m. JST Friday, more than four hours after the interruption began.
USJ opened at 9 a.m. JST. CrowdLevels recorded the interruption beginning at about 9:05 a.m., and the attraction was not marked for a planned closure.
The spinning coaster is in the park’s Hollywood area and has a posted ride time of about 10 minutes.
No cause or reopening time had been announced.
