The 20th Century Studios re-release was announced on the first Give Like Dolly Day. The celebration is scheduled to return each September 25, a date chosen as a nod to the film’s title.
Disney will donate net U.S. ticket proceeds
Disney will donate net proceeds from every U.S. ticket purchased during the engagement to the Dollywood Foundation in support of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The program provides free books to children.
