Sailor Moon 4-D Returns to Universal Studios Japan Dec. 2

The returning theater show runs through April 5, 2027, while a new Sailor Moon Story Ride takes over Hollywood Dream.

Sailor Moon is returning to Universal Studios Japan on Wednesday, Dec. 2, as the first announced collaboration for Universal Cool Japan 2027. Two limited-time attractions will run through Monday, April 5, 2027.

Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D — Moon Palace Deluxe will return to the Cinema 4-D Theater. The theater show uses 3D animation and in-theater effects for a battle involving all nine Sailor Guardians, followed by the Moon Palace ball scene.

The park is also adding Sailor Moon × Story Ride to Hollywood Dream — The Ride for the first time. The ride's story and audio details have not been announced.

This will be Universal Studios Japan's fourth Sailor Moon collaboration, following editions in 2018, 2019 and 2022. More Cool Japan 2027 titles, attraction details, food and merchandise are planned for later announcements.

Separate admission details and operating hours have not been announced for either Sailor Moon attraction.
