Savi’s Workshop has a new Protection and Defense hilt series and an upgraded lightsaber chassis and blade at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The refreshed hilts use white finishes, gold detailing and ancient Jedi symbols drawn from the High Republic era.
The hardware changes reach every hilt theme. Builders can now see thermal-cutting, spinning and deflection effects, along with smoother blade activation and upgraded sound.
Special “cracked” Kyber crystals add another trick: a quick flick of the wrist can change the blade color. A purchase is required, and advance reservations are encouraged for the experience.
