Universal Kids Resort and the National Breast Cancer Foundation gave breast cancer patients, survivors and their families exclusive morning access to the Frisco theme park.
NBC 5 reporter Noelle Walker spoke with participant Ally Chan and representatives from the foundation and Universal Kids Resort for an October 7 report on the visit.
Chan said the morning gave her family time to make memories together during treatment. “This day is special because it creates memories for us,” she told Walker.
Ashley Miller of the National Breast Cancer Foundation said the event centered on patients making memories with their children. Sharon Parker of Universal Kids Resort said she hoped those experiences would remain with families when they reflected on difficult days.
