Universal Destinations & Experiences has appointed Luc Bondar as chief brand and commercial officer. He starts October 19 and succeeds Alice Norsworthy, who plans to retire at the end of the year after more than 18 years with Universal.
Bondar will oversee brand strategy, creative and marketing, demand generation, sales, pricing and revenue management, commercial operations and analytics. He will report to Universal chairman and CEO Mark Woodbury and join the company’s executive leadership team.
Bondar previously served as chief operating officer and president of MileagePlus at United Airlines. His work there included brand and consumer marketing, customer growth, digital capabilities, analytics and strategic partnerships.
