Dacia began on Walt Disney World’s overnight custodial team in the early 2000s. Twenty-three years later, she is an area manager with Disney Holiday Services.
Her teams work with Walt Disney Imagineering on seasonal installations across the resort. Disney Experiences published the staff profile October 8.
Dacia’s earlier jobs included Craft Support Foreman, Decorator and Planned Work Specialist. Disney did not present her current role as a new promotion or give dates for each move.
She first joined Holiday Services through what she expected to be a temporary assignment. The work became a new career path, and she now helps other cast members build skills and pursue new roles.
