Disney Believe’s stateroom artwork began as hand-crafted paper scenes assembled by Disney Live Entertainment artists.
Walt Disney Imagineering shared the process Thursday, showing the paper pieces before they were transformed into the artwork guests will find inside the new ship’s staterooms.
The carousel pairs finished layered scenes with worktable footage. One scene sends Peter Pan and the Darling children over a paper London skyline. Other clips show artists arranging fine strips, leaves and character pieces on cutting mats.
