Disney Treasure will test wearable Key to the World wristbands on its October 10, 2026 sailing for guests who do not already have DisneyBand+.
Jackie Gailey of DCL Fan reports that Disney Cruise Line shared the plan in an email to travel advisors with clients booked on the sailing. Guests without DisneyBand+ will receive the test wristband during terminal check-in instead of finding a traditional Key to the World card outside their stateroom.
Guests who already have DisneyBand+ will use their own bands, with activation during check-in.
The test wristbands will work only for this sailing and must be returned after the cruise. Collection containers will be available outside the terminal, according to the report.
The test has been confirmed only for the October 10 sailing.
