Retired U.S. Navy Capt. E. Royce Williams, 101, recently became an Honorary Citizen of Disneyland in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, then received recognition during the park’s Flag Retreat ceremony.
Williams received the honor from Disneyland Ambassador Michele Mary while visiting the resort with close friends and fellow retired military aviators.
Later, Disney cast members, the Disneyland Band and the Dapper Dans joined the Flag Retreat recognition in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A.
Williams is a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient.
