A notification shared by a guest after the Thursday, October 8 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party says Disney automatically converted the guest’s event ticket into a one-day ticket with the Park Hopper option.
The converted ticket is valid at any Walt Disney World theme park for one year from the original event-ticket date, according to the message. A theme park reservation is required.
What the notification says
The message describes the ticket as nontransferable and nonrefundable. The notification itself cannot be used for park admission.
Disney’s public event page confirms that October 8 was one of the scheduled 2026 party nights at Magic Kingdom. The event ran from 7 p.m. to midnight. The party continued through the rainy evening; the notification does not describe the event as canceled.
Guests who received the message should check the date and admission details attached to the converted ticket before planning a visit. The one-year window runs from the original October 8 event date.
