John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell attended the BFI London Film Festival premiere of Wild Horse Nine at Royal Festival Hall on Friday, October 9.
The festival scheduled the London screening for 6 p.m. local time. Martin McDonagh wrote and directed the Searchlight Pictures film, which follows CIA agents sent from Santiago to Easter Island shortly before Chile’s 1973 coup.
In a private red-carpet interview, Steve Buscemi told The Hollywood Reporter that he drew his preparation for CIA boss MJ primarily from McDonagh’s script and the other actors. He described MJ as a boss who is under pressure from bosses of his own.
Searchlight plans to open Wild Horse Nine in theaters November 6. The BFI festival listing has the screening schedule, and Searchlight Pictures has the theatrical date and film details.
