McDonald’s Japan will launch 10 Universal Studios Japan toys on Friday, October 16, as part of a new USJ All Stars Happy Set.
The limited-time set marks Universal Studios Japan’s 25th anniversary and Halloween. Happy Set is the name McDonald’s uses for its Happy Meal in Japan. The promotion will be available at McDonald’s locations across Japan, with some stores excluded.
Two waves begin October 16
The first five toys will be available from October 16 through October 22. A second group follows from October 23 through October 29. Beginning October 30, restaurants will offer one toy from the combined 10-toy assortment.
Customers cannot choose or exchange the toy they receive. Quantities are limited, and participating restaurants may substitute another toy after supplies run out.
The USJ All Stars toy lineup
The collection draws from Universal Studios Japan attractions and characters, including Minions, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Curious George, Jaws, Jurassic World and Back to the Future. Several toys move or open, while others work as a stamp, container, wristband or key holder.
