Lucasfilm revealed the cover for Star Wars: A New Hope — The Complete Manga at New York Comic Con. Random House Worlds will release the collected edition on March 16, 2027.
The deluxe omnibus collects all four volumes of Hisao Tamaki’s manga adaptation of A New Hope. The 352-page hardcover costs $40.
The cover puts the manga versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia in front of Darth Vader, with the film’s battle station behind them. The book republishes the complete adaptation for the film’s 50th anniversary; it is not a newly created manga.
Marvel’s catalog carries the four-part English manga series from 1998. This edition gathers the full work in one volume.
