Japan’s first Disney cruise ship has a name: Disney Imagination, with sailings from Tokyo beginning in spring 2029.
Disney said the ship will begin sailing from Tokyo in spring 2029. Oriental Land Company and Oriental Land Company Cruise also published the name on their official announcement index and in a two-page press release.
The companies said the name draws on imagination as a central part of Disney storytelling and the experience they want guests to have aboard the ship.
