John Stamos accepted the Bob Saget Legacy Award during the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine benefit on October 13.
The evening at the Beverly Wilshire raised more than $1 million for scleroderma research. That total covers the fundraiser as a whole.
Stamos remembered Saget as he accepted the honor. Created in 2023, the award recognizes people who use their public platforms and talents to build awareness and raise research funds.
Disney viewers may know Stamos as Marvyn Korn, the lead coach in the Disney+ original series Big Shot. He took the role in 2019.
