Disney has revealed a new interior design for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center and El Centro as a phased refurbishment moves ahead.

The brighter lobby has arched windows, patterned lighting, new seating areas and a colorful carpet. The redesigned spaces will add updated finishes, furnishings and shared areas inspired by Spain, Mexico and the American Southwest.

The resort has more than 228,000 square feet of function space. The convention center will remain open and fully operational throughout the refurbishment, with work coordinated around scheduled events.
