Marvel published a lettered preview of Jean Grey #1 on October 15, ahead of the issue’s November 25 release.
The five-issue limited series brings Jean back to Earth after her intergalactic adventures and the conclusion of DNX. Jed MacKay writes the series, with art by Rogê Antônio.
MacKay told Marvel that Jean’s relationship with the Phoenix Force remains a work in progress. Her next opponent is a primal force that threatens to return everything to an earlier age.
Jean sits across a table from Professor X as he warns her about control. The conversation quickly turns that warning toward Jean’s own power.
