Alan Bersten will partner Jenna Dewan on Dancing With the Stars for Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, Variety reports.
Bersten steps in after BBC Studios said Val Chmerkovskiy “will not participate in next week’s show.” The statement covers the upcoming episode and does not specify when Chmerkovskiy will return.
Dewan is scheduled to perform a Viennese waltz to “Unchained Melody,” dedicated to her mother. ABC’s episode announcement confirms Dedication Night will air live on ABC and Disney+ on October 20.
