A carved blue-green temple rises behind scaffolding in Tropical Americas, while a new Disney World construction tour also includes details from Disney Lakeshore Lodge.
Josh D’Amaro shared the seven-photo set Tuesday after walking the Tropical Americas, Monstropolis and Lakeshore Lodge sites with Walt Disney Imagineering teams. He did not say when the tour occurred.
A closer look at the temple
The colorful temple facade stands at the center of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom portion of the tour. Blue-green carvings and weathered red surfaces are visible through a grid of scaffolding. An Imagineer compares the physical work with a rendering on a tablet.
Inside a large building with a wood-paneled ceiling, team members review floor markings. The final images include carved wood details and an Imagineering vest. D’Amaro did not announce new opening dates or construction milestones.
